As part of our continued growth in the GCC region, Harris•Aoki Hospitality was proud to support No Name Café in launching its first food and beverage venture in Muscat. The founders entered the food and beverage industry with a clear vision and strong entrepreneurial spirit and engaged our team for comprehensive assistance, ranging from concept development and brand positioning to operational planning and launch execution.
This project represented a collaborative and rewarding partnership. By offering hands-on expertise and strategic guidance at each stage, we helped shape the brand’s identity and ensure a successful entry into Oman’s evolving café market.
We delivered end-to-end support in designing a functional and efficient kitchen tailored to the café’s concept and operational needs. Working closely with the contractors and kitchen design team, we provided remote consultation on space planning, kitchen zoning, and equipment placement. The goal was to optimize workflow, comply with regulatory requirements, and ensure a layout that supported the smooth execution of a breakfast-focused menu.
For equipment selection, we connected the client with trusted suppliers recognized for quality and reliability. By recommending durable fit-for-purpose kitchen solutions and globally established brands, we enabled the team to invest in tools that would support operational consistency and long-term performance.
We assisted No Name Café in identifying, evaluating, and securing relationships with reliable suppliers whose offerings aligned with the café’s menu and quality expectations. Our aim was to simplify the procurement process and ensure the timely delivery of essential ingredients and products. By streamlining sourcing and negotiating competitive pricing, we helped the team remain focused on pre-launch readiness and operational priorities.
We played an integral role in shaping the staffing structure required to support the café’s business model. Our involvement focused on key recruitment stages, including identifying staffing needs, screening CVs, conducting interviews, and recommending candidates aligned with the café’s standards.
To ensure smooth day-one operations, we also created a pre-opening duty roster. This gave the team a clear understanding of responsibilities, encouraged team coordination, and helped establish a consistent and manageable workflow from the outset.
In close collaboration with the founders, we developed a tailored menu that brought their creative vision to life. Our process combined the founders’ input with our culinary expertise to curate a well-balanced selection of dishes that are contemporary, accessible and built on a foundation of quality ingredients.

To ensure operational excellence from the very beginning, our culinary team traveled to Muscat to conduct intensive hands-on training with the café’s kitchen staff and head chef. The training covered the end-to-end execution of each menu item including preparation techniques, portioning, presentation and service flow.
Our approach was collaborative and practical, ensuring that each team member could confidently execute dishes to a consistent standard. This in-depth training helped embed quality-focused routines that would become the cornerstone of the café’s daily kitchen operations.
No Name Café launched with a fully equipped kitchen, a well-prepared team and an operational structure that allowed for smooth efficient service. From day one, the café experienced strong operational performance with staff working cohesively and workflows running seamlessly.
